Markets in Wainfleet: Fridays
|
|
The Market Place is in the centre of town and dominated by the clock
tower built by J.T. Turner &
Sons in 1899.
There is a market and the W.I. have a market in the O.A.P. Hall (Rumbold
Street) on Fridays.
Since the bypass was built, the heavy traffic no longer passes through
the town centre. This makes a very pleasant quiet atmosphere.
There is a good range of shops, inns and places to eat.
Half Day closing is on Thursdays.
